SALSA Kids Video Club 2.0

Salsa is Video Club is an ongoing after-school program at MATV. It stands for Super Awesome Local Student Artists. It was created by 10 year old MATV youth member Susan Cao in 2010. Upon Susan’s request, MATV has been hosting the club since she moved away to Chicago in 2011. Participants will learn basic camerawork, directing improvisation, script writing, acting and editing!

Spring Video Blast

Looking for fun things to do during the April break? Look no more! Come have a blast creating videos with your favorite youth instructors Maya and masio! After learning the basics of video production, you can choose to make a music video, a skit, or a mock commercial or whatever creativity inspires you to make! Come join the fun!

Intro to Studio Production

Learn the ins and outs of studio production in this class that covers both the technical use of our studio A and the production planning needed to put together a studio-based program. Students will learn all the various positions: camera, floor directing, switching, media tech, lighting, graphics, and directing.
