Malden Patch (online community newspaper www.maldenpatch.com) has partnered with Malden Access Television to bring the community "Malden Patch Presents ... Is Malden Center at a Turning Point?" This live TV show & webcast will explore the planned redevelopment of Malden's downtown area with special guests. Viewers will be encouraged to participate via Twitter and questions by phone. Malden Patch editor Chris Caesar will host the show and guests include Mayor Gary Christenson, representatives from the Malden Redevelopment Authority (MRA), a local resident activist, and a Patch subscriber selected through a recent contest.
The program will be covered LIVE on MATV Public Access (Comcast 3/Verizon 28) and through our CIty Stream webcast (go to http://www.matv.org/matvcitystream/). It will also be carried live on the Malden Patch website. Viewers can tweet or call in their questions.
The program will be re-cablecast on MATV throughout the month of April on the following schedule: Tuesdays at 11:00am, Wednesdays at 3:30pm, Fridays at 6:00pm, Saturdays at 8:30pm.
