MONDAY, May 11 @ 7:00 p.m.
“Open House Showcase” Crew Rehearsal
Calling all volunteer crew members! We encourage you to attend this workshop to go over what to expect during our live 8-hour show on Saturday. We’ll need help with camera, directing, audio, and interviewing. During the rehearsal, we’ll show clips from previous years and offer tips and information on how you can help produce a smashingly successful show!

Gallery Reception Middle School Art Exhibit

Our annual Middle School Art Exhibit begins in May and we’ll be holding a reception on this evening during MATV Week. Come out and see the amazing work of these young artists!
WEDNESDAY, May 13
Skype Visit with author Robin Sloan
6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Meet and chat via Skype with Robin Sloan, author of this year’s Malden Reads book selection “Mr. Penumbra’s 24-hour Bookstore.” Join us for refreshments and preparation beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the Skype chat beginning at 7:00 p.m. Questions can also be emailed in advance to maldenreads@gmail.com. KVA Red Carpet Premiere!
Malden Senior Community Center
7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Come see the youth from the Kids Video Adventure 2014 summer program dressed in their finest to premiere their half-hour video which consists of news segments, commercials for original products and a short movie! Enjoy the red carpet pre-show, and take part in a Q&A with the participants following the screening.
SATURDAY, May 16
9th Annual Open House Showcase!
1:00 - 9:00pm
Don’t miss being a part of this LIVE 8-hour TV show, webcast, and Open House. Come for any period of time as a host, interview guest, performer, crew member, audience member, Open House attendee (or SOME or all of the above!) A variety of live performances throughout the day will take place in Studio A. The lobby will be transformed into a live interview set. Delicious food & refreshments will be served throughout the day-meet other community members, enjoy performances, see behind-the-scenes of a live show, help out, and just have fun!
