Dee Jaye
has been a member, volunteer, and producer since 1992.
She joined as a part-time staff member in the fall of
1998 and currently recruits and oversees the many MATV volunteers
who give of their time helping out with tasks around
the station. On her own time, Dee Jaye is the
producer and host of the monthly live program Open
Studio which brings in many community guests who are
making a positive difference in the community. The
Open Studio motto is "Helping others, even just a little
bit, can go a long way".
Dee Jaye
is an aspiring singer with lots of creative interests.
Through the years, when time allows, she likes to hear
local bands in the possibility of finding some original talent
to appear as guests on Open Studio. Dee Jaye's
amazing organizational ability and outreach to the
community has set a benchmark for volunteers and staffers,
alike.
